Frames per second, makes it seem smoother.

Our eye takes in 24 frames (images) per second and T.V.s use 25 + for smoothness :P

Doesn't that add a huge number of frames - I don't know much about this stuff, but I'm interested - for each movement (each frame) what's the rule of thumb relating to the number of frames to make an animation look the best - without ending up with a huge, huge file?

Input will be appreciated.
:iconturnip-stew:
24 is the smallest number of frames for it to look its absolute smoothest in one second. You can still make things look good by using 15 - 20 frames per sec but i wouldnt use anything below 15 frames, it starts to look stutery.

The animation on the right hand side of this page moves at 10 fps.

It all depends on how good you want your work to look i soppose

Great animation, and I love the colors (reminds me of M&Ms). Well done!

Only my best is good enough.
